Rules

Say something real. "Great book, 5/5" is not a post. Tell us what it did to you.
Spoilers go behind a spoiler tag, always. Even for classics.
Tag the genre and form: fiction, non-fiction, sff, poetry, memoir, short-stories.
Quotes are welcome. Keep them short, attribute the translator if it's translated.
Recommendations should come with a "why you". "Read this if you liked X" beats "everyone should read this".
No AI-generated reviews. We can tell.
Author drama and take-downs belong elsewhere. Talk about the work.
It's fine to DNF and say so — explain what lost you.
English posts by default. Quotes in the original language are welcome with a translation.
